With 45 years of history in Brazil, Bamaq operates in the automotive and financial segments through operations in dealerships and consortia of various brands in the country. Recently, the company relied on the expertise of EBS-IT specialists for a project to implement Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
The company's main need for change was to carry out a digital transformation of its operations, including a redefinition of its processes to eliminate the circulation of paper, formal spreadsheet controls and the entry of information into different systems - a challenge that the EBS-IT team was able to solve extremely efficiently.
By using Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), the company was able to acquire a structure that was much more flexible and suited to its needs. Due to the pandemic, new demands have arisen and the implementation of a more complete solution has become even more beneficial. According to Mateus Torquato, controller of Bamaq's financial segment, "The area that uses Oracle EPM is the one that provides the data needed for decision-making. When it becomes more dynamic, this strategic decision-making process is made easier."
The implementation proposal suggested by EBS-IT was evaluated as the most cost-effective partnership by the company. "They presented the most interesting scope for us and the process (...) was very successful. They exceeded my expectations and I recommend them 100%."
Although there are still no comparative studies on the positive differences after implementation, the improvement has already proved visible: the team has been saving time in obtaining data and can better invest their work in analyzing the information. In addition, the possibility of distributing tasks has improved not only time savings, but also the reduction of errors in daily processes.
At first, the Oracle EPM platform was only applied to the company's automotive segment. However, with the benefits brought by the transformation, there is the possibility of negotiating for it to be implemented in Bamaq's financial area in the future.
